We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for attaining a revenue goal within an assigned territory. The individual will be “opening the doors” in large enterprises interacting with the Head of Sustainability and C level executives. This role will report into the Chief Customer Officer. Candidates for this position must be highly motivated, tenacious, and self starters.

In this role, you will:

    • Be responsible to drive business in the Europe markets by developing new business in their existing accounts as well as hunting for new accounts
    • Be responsible for all aspects of the selling process - Identify, Qualify, Sell, Close, and Administer
    • Be developing and executing account plans to achieve targets: Cold calling, prospecting, qualification, account mapping, and presentations
    • Administer accurate forecasting of business and keeping records in the internal systems updated
    • Be effectively utilising Hubspot tools for pipeline development, tracking opportunity progress (Forecasting), and developing monthly, and quarterly level forecasts
    • Identify key steps to close sales, identify decision makers and influencers, etc
    • Identify and Generate leads by using networking and other sales tools
    • Gain agreement of proposed solution / services, tying back to customer business drivers
    • Determine availability needs and objectives

You should have:

    • Experience selling to customers in the European markets especially Germany, Switzerland and United Kingdom
    • Direct experience in working with the SaaS industry in a business development or sales role
    • A history of implementing successful long-term customer partnerships with customers, strong exposure to key Industries such as Agri, FMCG and Industrials
    • A successful track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
    • Demonstrate a high ability to influence, evangelize and persuade at both operational and executive level to achieve a targeted business outcome
    • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to do market assessments and data driven decisions
    • The ability to work independently and possess excellent communication skills to drive customer and internal engagements
    • The ability to implement and accelerate strategic decisions
    • The ability to develop business plans and strategies and effectively deliver value propositions for specific and targeted industries
    • The ability to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the SaaS market and companies there-in and fully understand their business culture and work practices
    • A passion for customers and sustainability
    • An active contribution to a dynamic office culture
