Role and Responsibilities
Territory is hiring a Senior Manager of People Operations / HR Business Partner to support people strategy, own our organizational vision and drive our remote-first culture. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a critical people operations leader throughout the organization.

You are a results oriented, strong communicator with a passion for talent strategy who is seeking a fast-paced opportunity with a wide scope of ownership and responsibility. You will not only have a strong background in human resources and proven leadership experience, but you have a positive attitude and thrive on solving hard problems while inspiring the people around you. 

    • Provide HR leadership, serving as main point of contact for talent management, recruitment, learning, and employee relations issues 
    • Lead key people initiatives including: recruiting, performance management, change management, organization planning, DEI planning, and employee development
    • Understand the business strategy and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability and drive change management to align our organization with our business strategy
    • Diagnose gaps between current and desired organization performance and deploy actions, including organization redesign, process change, coaching and training.
    • Participate in the ideation and organization of employee events related to strategic initiatives (diversity, career pathing, pipeline programs, etc.)
    • Thrive in a remote-first environment and work autonomously while reaching goals and communicating proactively with senior leadership

Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree and 7-10+ years of experience in a human resources, consulting, operations, project management, and/or related role
    • Work experience or education in US employment law and/or human resource practices
    • Demonstrated experience in diversity, equality and inclusion operations and strategy
    • Experience consulting with and influencing senior executives
    • Passion for management and organizational theories, techniques and thought leadership
    • Ability to use data to drive recommendations
    • Ability to work with a high level of integrity and an excellent sense of judgment, remaining trustworthy and non-political
    • Project management experience with a focus on drive and execution
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
This position is remote / work from home, preferably in the major metropolitan areas around New York, Washington, DC, Dallas, Austin, Los Angeles or San Francisco
