Territory Foods is seeking a Community Activation Manager to build brand awareness and aid customer acquisition through partnerships and events with aligned brands and local culinary partners in Los Angeles. Territory Foods is a company that supports local economies through its sourcing and operational practices. As a remote company, it’s important that the Territory Foods Community Activation Manager serves as the ‘boots-on-the-ground’ expert within Los Angeles to foster the brand’s relationship with the local community and the people it serves.

Source Brand Partnerships

    • Be the Los Angeles expert of all things related to marketing for Territory Foods
    • Build brand awareness and brand exposure by identifying and building partnerships with like-minded brands and properties with similar consumer targets across various vertices for sampling, cross-promotion, sponsorships, etc. 
    • Identify strategic opportunities to connect with consumers in Los Angeles through live events and sampling
    • Forge partnerships with aligned culinary partners, brands, and influencers that are beloved in Los Angeles
    • Execute upon partnerships from brand at national level when relevant

Source Culinary Partnerships

    • Help support culinary team in chef partnership recruitment, providing insight on how to amplify partnerships through brand storytelling & marketing opportunities 
    • Liaise and help recruit and on-board chef partners as needed
    • Identify potential CPG product partnerships for on-menu and sampling

Community Engagement - Events

    • Develop and execute high-impact events based on brand strategy and local consumer preferences
    • Source and manage freelance caterers, chefs, and production teams as needed
    • Provide on-the-ground support at events and other sampling opportunities as needed
    • Support PR strategy to ensure activation efforts are amplified on a local level

Account Management

    • Help maintain key relationships with culinary and B2B partners, in collaboration with multifunctional counterparts

Strategic Executions - Activations & insights

    • Stay abreast of the Territory Foods brand strategy to ensure local-level activations are on-brand and in line with company goals
    • Provide local insights, feedback, and activation guidance to HQ team for national executions and plans

    • Creative marketer and story-teller with expertise to bring brand partnerships to life across multiple consumer touch points
    • Experience in D2C, health and wellness, and/or hospitality industries
    • Passionate about food, wellness, and community development
    • Comfortable with remote work and accountability 
    • Eager to learn new things and constantly grow - willing to test and learn through new technologies, tools, trends, and mediums
