Goal of Job

The consumer experience team is responsible to build the next generation experience (app and web) that is powered by a cutting edge personalization algorithm. We are re-thinking the current paradigm of shopping and the team works closely with designers, backend engineers to iterate and build this consumer experience. As lead of this team, you will be responsible for providing technical, project, product and people leadership to a high pace, iterative, innovative team of engineers. This role is a blend of hands-on work and leadership and we are looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats.


    • Provide technical leadership to the Consumer Experience team by providing feedback on architecture, design, code as well as helping make technical choices
    • Partner with product manager and designers to define priorities and product direction
    • Own the execution for the team including setting and hitting milestones
    • Champion engineering best practices and processes across the organization
    • Lead by example through great code, communication, teamwork, and technical foresight
    • Tackle challenging new initiatives that promote your personal and professional growth

Required Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in front end or mobile development
    • Previous experience leading or managing an engineering team/exposure to a lead or manager position for an engineering team
    • Comfort working across the stack, with a love for the front-end and building great consumer experiences
    • Strong command of software engineering best practices and a passion for building high quality software
    • Experience with React/React Native
