We’re looking for a smart, driven digital marketer to join our Growth team and lead the strategy and execution of our Paid Social acquisition efforts in-house. Reporting to the VP of Growth, you’ll be joining an amazing cross-functional team of Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design practitioners working together to drive continued growth of the business. This position is based in our HQ office in Santa Monica, CA just steps from the beach and Santa Monica Pier.

What You'll Do

    • Own strategy and execution for all Paid Social acquisition channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and others to drive sustainable customer acquisition
    • Partner with our existing Paid Social agency to bring campaigns in-house
    • Establish and manage campaign performance reporting to internal stakeholders to improve efficiency and generate new learnings for the business
    • Learn our customer inside and out to help inform our marketing strategy
    • Partner with our Brand/Creative team to provide recommendations on ad creative, copy, and landing pages to optimize performance and validate hypotheses for acquiring new customers
    • Lead testing of beta features on major ad platforms and establish best practices for scaling them based on performance
    • Work within a cross-functional Growth team consisting of design, product, engineering, and marketing to brainstorm, prioritize, scope, and execute on ways to accelerate profitable growth (not necessarily limited to traditional marketing efforts)

Who You Are

    • 2-4 years of hands-on experience launching, optimizing, and scaling Paid Social campaigns; e-commerce experience a plus
    • Deep experience with campaign management tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Kenshoo, Smartly, Nanigans, AdEspresso, or similar
    • Extremely analytical, question assumptions, and constantly seek data to validate your hypotheses
    • Familiar with various digital attribution models and the biases inherent in each
    • Highly proficient in Excel; working SQL knowledge is a plus, but not required
    • Excellent communicator who can clearly and concisely convey your thoughts and ideas to any audience
    • A strong intuition for what makes for engaging ad creative and meticulous about the quality of ads we run to ensure we’re building an enduring brand
    • Intellectually curious and have a bias towards learning across many different domains
    • Thrive in a role with lots of autonomy, but also enjoy being part of a diverse team working toward a common goal (and has fun while doing it!)
