We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our growing sales team. The Business Development Associate (BDA) helps generate new business for our Sponsorships team by effectively and efficiently researching, engaging and connecting potential customers to drive top of sales funnel activity and generate pipeline. The BDA is responsible for scheduling qualified Initial Sales Meetings and assisting account executives (AEs) with discovering new logo opportunities. The BDA role is ideal for goal-oriented candidates looking to develop valuable sales experience within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

    • Identify and contact prospective clients using both inbound leads and outbound prospecting strategies via email, social media and over the phone.
    • Partner with account executives to create customized territory plans Identify organizations that fit the ideal customer profile and then research relevant contacts for outreach.
    • Promptly respond to and setup discovery calls to Sponsor inquiries and qualified leads generated through Marketing efforts Record and maintain outreach records in CRM system.
    • Track and report on individual progress to monthly and quarterly goals for initial sales meetings and pipeline sourced.
    • Coordinate internal staff to ensure the right individuals are present to support prospective client conversations.
    • Prepare team members for external meetings by providing relationship background and corporate news and profile.

Qualifications

    • 1-2 years of professional experience, including internship and externship roles.
    • Interest in the evolving crypto and digital assets industry and willingness to learn about crypto and media sales.
    • Self-starter mentality; able to operate independently and take ownership.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Impeccable time management and organizational skills.
    • Adaptable to changing startup environment.
    • Collaborative spirit and results-oriented.
$65,000 - $65,000 a year
The compensation structure is $65,000 base, with total $95,000 OTE.
