As a Senior Accountant on the Corporate Accounting team, you will help prepare, review, and analyze accounting data; ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial closings and reporting; uphold a strong control environment; and assist with audits, systems enhancements and other ad-hoc projects. As an integral member of the team, you will also work with and help to deliver insightful and actionable information to business partners, at all levels, across the organization.

Responsibilities:

    • Support managing key financial accounting processes
    • Produce accurate, timely GAAP-compliant income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow on a monthly basis
    • Analyze and reconcile G/L accounts at month-end
    • Create and maintain visibility into expenses (eg: by segment, department and category)
    • Facilitate efficient financial operations and controls to many areas across the business, including but not limited to A/P, A/R, Accruals, Deferred Revenue, Prepaid Expenses, Payroll, Operating Expenses, Cash Management, Revenue Recognition, Inventory, and Fixed Assets.
    • Collaborate with Technology and Analytics leads to ensure availability of accurate and actionable financial data from upstream sources.
    • Help ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local tax and other regulations- assisting with filings/reporting, advising management on actions needed, and more
    • Participate in various projects and research, as applicable

Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in the accounting field, with a combination of both public accounting and in-house corporate accounting experience preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
    • Experience working with and producing GAAP-compliant financial statements
    • Financial system knowledge (Quickbooks/ Concur/Oracle)
    • Strong verbal and written skills to interact effectively with business partners across the Org
    • Able to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
