Who Are You?

You will work closely with The Bouqs Company’s Social Media Manager and Brand Director to create engaging content that activates and grows our social community. In addition to helping with content development, the Social Coordinator will be expected to develop content strategies, assist with content distribution and community management, and contribute to overall strategy by staying current with platform trends and features.  
 
What You Will Do:

Help manage company social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn with the goal being to engage and grow audiences by channel.
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on content development. Must be able to: Develop engaging concepts for social content Develop real-time responses to platform updates or cultural moments
Ability to strategize efficient production tactics for our social media content photo and video shoots.
Design creative Instagram Stories that share our brand narrative and get viewers to engage and buy
Introductory knowledge of paid media formats by channel, support media buying for paid promotion of brand content.
Develop copy for social posts that adheres to channel-specific best practices and invites conversation.
Manage the content calendar per the monthly strategy and post cadence set forth by the social manager. This includes: ensuring daily content is approved for posting, assets are correctly formatted, channel-specific posting formats are designated and content is scheduled.
Manage production for content execution, including: gather props, create production schedules, manage shoots, aid post-production.
Assist with influencer management: help build an influencer database, facilitate outreach, manage correspondence, fulfill product needs and foster long-term relationships.
Help grow our social footprint by engaging daily on each platform, such as: daily publishing, liking and commenting on related Instagram content (outside of community management), joining relevant Twitter conversations, re-pinning on Pinterest.
Field and brainstorm partnership opportunities, aid social manager in establishing new relationships.
 
 
What You Will Need:

A passion for all things social, you don’t need thousands of followers, but you do need to be an active user!
An appetite for staying on top of social news to help keep the team up-to-date and strategize with the social manager on ways to leverage trends.
Knowledge of channel-specific features by platform. Some Adobe Suite knowledge is a PLUS! Photography skills (both iPhone and DSLR).
Ability to write copy that is both creative and engaging.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
An eye for aesthetics and branding.
Entrepreneurial spirit, a demonstrated sense of urgency and a results-oriented approach.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while being flexible with change.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related business or communications field. 2+ years of experience assisting with social media on behalf of a brand.
