The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America. With something for everyone, our event offers a wide variety of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!
The CNE fair is a cherished tradition, attracting approximately 1.5 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. Be a part of this summer tradition and help us inspire Canadians and create memories.
Reporting to the Online Ticketing Support Call Centre Supervisor, the Online Sales Call Centre Representative will be working in the CNE online ticketing inbound call centre. Contract Position: July 14 until September 01st, 2025
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Respond to guest online ticketing inquiries via phone, email
- Troubleshoot and resolve guest online ticketing issues
- Update database and maintain paper records as appropriate
- Perform daily office administrative duties and other duties as required
Required Skills
- Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally

- Excellent telephone manner
- Proven customer service, troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable working with a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook and Word
- Diplomacy and ability to represent the CNE to corporate clients, guests and partners
Required Qualifications
- Available to work the full 18 days of the fair (August 15 - Sept. 1, 2025)
- Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends, during the period leading up to the CNE
- Available to attend Mandatory Orientation Session and Job Specific Training
- You have a strong customer service background, the desire to help people, and possess excellent communication skills. You thrive under pressure and are not afraid to deal with conflict
- Previous call centre and ticketing experience with large-scale events preferred

- Ability to remain seated or in a stationary position for extended periods of time
