The CNE, often affectionately referred to as The Ex, is Canada’s largest community event and one of the top ten agricultural fairs in North America. With something for everyone, our event offers a wide variety of attractions and interactive entertainment experiences including: concerts, midway rides and games, shopping, exhibits, tech and gaming hubs, food and wacky treats!
 
The CNE fair is a cherished tradition, attracting approximately 1.5 million visitors annually over the course of its 18-day run. Be a part of this summer tradition and help us inspire Canadians and create memories.

Responsibilities

    • Maintain the safety and well-being of found children until they are reunited with their parents
    • Record the details of inquiries as well as, actions taken in a computer database
    • Initiate an internal search and notify ExPlace Security, Toronto Police, and Guest Services Coordinators as required
    • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
    • Track and route problems and document resolutions
    • Record articles that are lost and found in a computer database
    • Ensure that baby care stations and prayer rooms are properly maintained and presentable at all times
    • Answer basic questions from guests regarding programming, attractions, facilities and services

Required Qualifications

    • Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years
    • Experience working with children is preferred
    • Good computer skills
    • Available to work all 18 days of the fair (August 15 - Sept. 1, 2025)
    • Able to attend Mandatory HR and Job Specific Orientation Session in Early August
    • Available to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends
    • May be required to cover shifts until midnight as schedule dictates
    • CPR certification (training provided)
    • Police Reference Check (Vulnerable Sectors) must be obtained prior to beginning work

Special Conditions

    • Ability to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time
    • Required to dress in appropriate uniform
