House Majority PAC is an organization designed to hold Republicans accountable and help elect more House Democrats. House Majority PAC is committed to building a long-term organization that can take on the Republican outside groups in the battle for the House Majority.
The National Political Director will serve as a senior member of the IE team for the 2026 election cycle and work closely with IE Director, Deputy IE Directors, Digital Director, and Research Director to develop, execute and manage a multi-million dollar advertising and mobilization campaign in partnership with HMP vendors across the battlefield.
The ideal candidate will have multiple cycles worth of experience building and executing large scale electoral campaigns as well as substantive experience managing full-time staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, train and manage political staff, providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage internal workflows to guarantee timely production, approval, and launch of advertisements in collaboration with research and legal staff.
- Collaborate with partner organizations across the House IE ecosystem to coordinate and implement effective electoral and advocacy programs
- Oversee the organization’s storytelling initiatives, including recruiting individuals to participate in advertisements.
- Support the compliance team as necessary by maintaining organized systems for FEC reporting purposes.
- Assist with other projects and initiatives as needed to support the organization’s broader goals and long-term vision.
Qualifications
- Minimum eight years of experience in electoral programming, ideally with two to four years of experience with paid advertising programing
- Minimum of four years of experience managing full time staff
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, research, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with independent expenditure and paid media programs
- Experience working in the U.S. House of Representatives or on House campaigns highly preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of wide-ranging responsibilities; ability to work independently and proactively
- Ability to work under pressure and remain flexible and adaptable as needs and priorities change; experience managing to multiple deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting Democratic values and causes
LOCATION: Washington, DC
START DATE: September 2025
TRAVEL: Little to no travel will be required
SALARY: Starting at $140,000 annualized, commensurate with experience
This is a temporary [cycle-based], at will position with an anticipated end date of no later than December 15, 2026
