Position Summary

We’re looking for a Program Associate to join the Policy & Research Team here at the Hub Project. The Associate will work on a newly launched initiative called the Groundwork Collaborative, which will advance a coherent economic worldview within the broader progressive movement.

What is Groundwork?
The Groundwork Collaborative works with partners from across the progressive movement to support policies that promote durable prosperity, equity, and economic security.

As a Program Associate, you’ll:

Work with the Groundwork team to design and run key meetings, events, and convenings with policy experts, activists, and progressive movement leaders
Support logistics, operations, coordinating contracts, and budgeting for our programs
Research, write, and develop creative materials or event plans for Groundwork programs
Work in coordination with the communications, digital, and policy teams to create and implement projects that advance Groundwork’s core mission.

You’re comfortable working under tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
You’re excited to join a fast-growing and collaborative team that’s building something brand new.
You’re eager to learn and capable of picking things up quickly.
You’re comfortable using (or learning) Google Suite, Slack, major social media platforms, and Microsoft Office.
In addition, it would be a bonus if:
You have some administrative, finance, operations, or logistical work experience.
You have some experience planning events or carrying out projects for non-profit or political organizations.
You have some experience working on or studying relevant areas of economics or economic policy.
