THE COMPANY

The Hustle is one of the country's fastest-growing information companies. We are a community of builders who are hellbent on changing the world through business.

We support this community with business insights and intelligence, access to world-class leaders, and a powerful network to help our members grow their business.

We're changing how media companies build brand loyalty. As one of our early hires, you will help us chart the course.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced research analyst who can help us uncover the next big business ideas and help our growing community of builders make better business decisions.

This person will play an integral role in shaping our premium Trends publication (trends.co), working closely with our team of analysts and writers to identify market gaps and opportunities and show our audience how to build successful businesses.

The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing businesses; interviewing industry experts; scraping websites, researching public filings, and surfacing financial information; and turning data you collect into actionable insights for our members.

Must be an adaptable self-starter capable of thinking critically about solving problems for an entrepreneurial-minded audience. Candidates will be expected to create products and services that inform and delight our 1 million+ member audience, including our Daily and Sunday email readers.

We encourage applications from candidates who have succeeded in a startup environment and we welcome candidates from non-traditional backgrounds. We encourage remote applicants, and we're open to candidates with different levels of experience. For us, having a person with the right mindset and temperament is most important.
