Spring 2021 Internship

The Messina Group is looking for enthusiastic current undergraduate students with an interest in politics to join our team as remote part-time interns for spring 2021.
Applications must be received before 5:00pm ET on December 4, 2020. All applicants will be notified of their application status before December 23, 2020. This internship begins the week of January 4, 2021.
Founded by Obama for America 2012 Campaign Manager Jim Messina and led by seasoned strategists, The Messina Group is a full-service consulting firm that works with organizations in the private, public, and social sectors to achieve their strategic goals and build movements and products that succeed by being data-driven, digitally savvy, and grassroots focused.
The ideal candidate will be a confident writer, and a self-starter, who is able to exceed expectations with little direction and do so with creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and a humble and positive attitude. Former successful interns have logged-on each morning with a true team-player attitude, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
This internship is paid.
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations and administration of the office;
- Working on research and digital projects;
- Tracking and managing the distribution of news clips for the office and clients;
- Assisting staff in writing political memos;
- Other tasks and duties that may be assigned.
