WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Experienced Full Stack Engineer you will build greenfield, scalable web platforms utilizing JavaScript / TypeScript. In addition to providing input on app architecture, you'll collaborate with your team and others, own and implement features, review and give feedback to your peers, work directly with clients and stakeholders, all in an agile and lean environment. You will work on a small team with a product manager, designers and other engineers to envision, prototype and build complex systems to aggregate and present data from multiple sources.

You do not shy away from exploring new languages and technical tools, acquiring the skills you need, to get a job done. You have opinions about your favorite open source projects, or perhaps you have contributed to some or started one of your own.  You are empathetic and understand the importance of good communication and collaboration. Whether you are raising the flag within an implementation or sharing your favorite playlist in Slack, you will not shy away from letting your voice be heard.  


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Architect and build data processing systems using Typescript
    • Collaborate with product designers and clients to clarify requirements, prototype functionality and build products
    • Plan, estimate and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment
    • Guide our clients in best practices in order to achieve great project success

JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • 5 + years of professional experience
    • Strong full stack experience within the JavaScript ecosystem
    • Demonstrated proficiency with server side development in one or more languages like C#, Rust, Go, Python, Node, Elixir or others.
    • Demonstrable experience with modern web development practices and stack, including CSS (SaSS/LeSS/etc.), HTML, Javascript/Typescript.
    • Experience with both utilizing and implementing document management APIs like GSuite or Box
    • Are familiar with implementing security and authentication over a distributed system
    • Experience with web sockets is nice to have
    • Experience with pub/sub concepts  is nice to have
    • Previous remote work experience
    • Previous experience collaborating on highly distributed teams
    • Strong ability to communicate, collaborate, and empathize with others
    • Previous consulting experience
    • Recent experience in a high performing agile and/or lean environment, eg. Scrum, XP, Kanban, others.
    • Possess a strong and reliable internet connection.
