This role is part of TheoremOne's Revenue Team — the group dedicated to bringing in new accounts, and growing existing accounts. You’ll be a critical part of pre-sales efforts — through partnership with TheoremOne's demand generation, client account owners, and services delivery leadership — and by directly advising client prospects at new target accounts, you’ll help identify opportunities where TheoremOne can create value, ultimately turning these into new account engagements for TheoremOne.

You will have a background as a proven services delivery leader for large professional services contracts, ideally focused on digital transformation and building custom software for large enterprises. By sharing this experience, along with the TheoremOne way-of-working and case studies, you will build trust with new client prospects. Through thoughtfully guiding, listening, and consulting with new prospects you will find opportunities. 

Once you have identified opportunities from new leads, you will then co-develop proposals to turn these into new deals. This will be done in close collaboration with the services delivery team (engagement management, strategy, design, research, product, and engineering leaders). 

Additionally, you will support TheoremOne's sales and marketing efforts by creating content — sales presentation decks, website and landing page copy, whitepapers, blog posts — which showcase TheoremOne's specialized services. You will use this content in your opportunity-identification work, to explain TheoremOne's ways-of-working to client prospects. 


    • Co-lead the initial prospect meetings with Account Owners, and coordinated by our Demand Generation Team (Sales Development Representatives and Associate Business Development Managers)
    • Consult with prospects to understand their businesses, pain points and needs, where TheoremOne could advise them
    • Build close relationships with new client prospects to understand their business and technical needs. You will quickly gain a deep understanding of the TheoremOne Way of working and our client service offerings, with the objective of connecting these two worlds — finding a way to solve the problems you uncover with Theorem’s capabilities
    • Develop the understanding and findings on prospect needs into actionable options for future service engagements
    • Share client prospect assessment and opportunity insights with TheoremOne's Account Owners and Service Delivery Leadership
    • Collaborate with client prospects, stakeholders, and service partners to fully understand any constraints that may impact engineering efforts, architecture, integration points, and value
    • Co-produce high quality proposals that address the opportunities you have uncovered and engagement models that the prospect could benefit from
    • Build trust with new prospects by advising on value created from TheoremOne's engagement models and ways-of-working (e.g. Our cross-functional squad model, how we do Agile in the enterprise, how we bill using Time & Materials, how we integrate with customer IT departments etc.)
    • Strategize, prioritize, co-create content that explains TheoremOne's service offerings, engagement models, and ways-of-working. This could include sales presentation decks, case studies, website and landing-page copy, whitepapers, blog posts, and video/podcast content. 
    • Support planning of pre-sales opportunity exploration sessions and consultative workshops to help prospects better understand their problems and paths forward
    • Coordinate and prioritize multiple leads, opportunities, and proposals at the same time, in collaboration with the Director of Solutions Consulting.

    • You understand the importance and difficulties of digital transformation for large enterprises. You have first hand experience in a leadership role in delivering large scale professional services contracts that include custom software development, enterprise innovation initiatives, digital transformation, and/or organizational transformation. 
    • You have experience managing teams in digital product strategy, process improvement, and/or software delivery. You can discuss potential implementation challenges and explain the value of running these projects in a variety of ways.
    • You enjoy learning about new technologies, verticals, and industry domains. You are comfortable leading solution discussions at the intersection of business strategy and digital product strategy.
    • You clearly communicate engagement opportunities with the ability to remove ambiguity and generate clarity with cross-functional partners and the client
    • You are organized and comfortable creating multiple pieces of high quality work (proposals, pitch decks, whitepapers) in parallel
    • You thrive in a self-managed process. You can set timelines independently and adhere to schedules and work within varied constraints


    • 5+ years of experience in software development professional services, as an individual contributor (e.g. product, design, or engineering) and in a delivery leadership capacity
    • Strong experience in management and/or technology professional services and working directly with multiple concurrent clients and senior management stakeholders
    • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, enterprise innovation strategies, digital transformation trends and lessons, and cloud and major SaaS platform strategies regarding custom software development
    • Proficient ability to effectively articulate technical problems and solutions to both large and small audiences & educate customers of all sizes 
    • Experience working with multiple organization types, from mid-sized firms to large, enterprise organizations and an understanding of the different constraints of each
    • Solid understanding of various agile and lean methodologies, including the importance of product discovery, dual-track agile, and execution in cross-functional, collaborative teams
    • Familiarity with UI development, UX design collaboration, and working with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.) is highly desirable
    • Prior experience in management consulting, product management, and/or sales operations is highly desirable
