Evaluate and provide feedback on candidates' performance in offline (automated) assessments
WHO YOU ARE
You have a long history of applying your technical knowledge in real world situations . You are a skilled programmer who is not interested in producing production code. You stay up to date with modern coding conventions and best practices. You enjoy reading a reviewing code and discussing what code quality means.
- Consistently evaluate candidate's answers on manually scored elements using a scoring rubric, such as open-ended essay questions and code review assignments.
- Evaluate candidate's code submissions
- Promptly document your findings and summarize each candidate's assessment results for use by recruiters and hiring managers
- Coordinate with the TA team to rapidly meet team an candidate needs
- Maintain test automation tooling
- Modify, maintain, and mature tests as needed
- 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Experience as a dev lead with code reviewing experience
- Proficiency using various programming languages of different/mixed paradigms (imperative, functional, object-oriented, dynamic/static/strict typed)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, debugging skills
- Comfortable creating and working with command line tools including package managers, build systems, and Git
