The Digital Marketing Strategist, Paid Media works closely with OutCast’s cross-marketing content, PR, and creative teams to deliver paid media campaigns and digital thought leadership as a part of OutCast’s integrated marketing partnerships with key clients. This role will balance strong communications and presentation skills with an analytical mind, attention to detail, and active understanding of digital media platforms.

** We are open to candidates currently located in Los Angeles, Washington, DC, New York, Seattle and San Francisco. This position will be fully remote until July 2021 at the earliest.

What You’ll Do:

Client Focus:
* Provide strategic counsel, oversight and execution for digital programs and initiatives that enhance client brands and advance their communication objectives
* Deliver paid media strategy and execute paid media buys leveraging in-house ad trafficking tools, self-serve platforms, and through direct media relationships with partner platforms
* Partner with cross-functional OutCast teams to develop creative concepts that effectively target audiences on social/digital platforms
* Daily management and optimization of diverse paid campaigns that amplify and further push forward clients’ business objectives
* Work with clients and internal teams to develop measurement frameworks for display, social, and marketing programs leveraging internal tools with flexibility to customize around a client’s needs
* Analyze digital campaign performance in real-time and organic channels delivering day-to-day optimization as well as on-going client reporting
* Utilize quantitative and qualitative research to inform digital programs and campaigns with fresh, innovative insight

Internal Agency Focus:
* Participate in new business efforts including presentation and case study development and pitch strategy around digital programs 
* Identify and create digital opportunities within existing client base and with prospective clients
* Provide ongoing education and insight on the latest trends of the digital landscape, best practices and new digital platforms
* Advise staff on digital strategies and analyses
* Bring a high level of organizational, tactical and communication skills to all interactions
* Mentor junior teammates across account teams and the agency
* Be a trusted agency partner 

What You’ll Need:
*Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
* 4+ years of experience workingwith digital, marketing, online ads, and integrated campaigns (can be combined)
* 2+ years of experience supervising individuals and teams
* 3+ years project management experience
* Portfolio of digital advertising work within Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. Additional experience on Taboola, Outbrain, TikTok and other digital paid platforms a plus
* Fluency with owned/social media channels, emerging platforms and technologies
* Demonstrated understanding of analytics; how to measure program success and drive strategy
* Demonstrated ability to independently set up and manage media and social media listening software tools
* Ability to independently create Boolean queries
* Experience and comfort with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Drive
* Ability to present complex products, services and solutions in a simple way
* Excellent copywriting skills & editorial judgment
