The opportunity 
We are looking for a Business Analyst & Assistant who is excited about being an integral part of a highly motivated Business Development team of self-starters, working closely with our Global Head of Business Development and CEO to find the right opportunities with cities and transit agencies. As an early employee, you'll work in an exciting, fast-paced startup environment and will be able to grow quickly and have a large impact on the business.  
What you’ll be doing
o   Undertake and monitor research to provide highly needed support for business development department (procurement, grants, opportunities).
o   Provide required support for the organization’s business development team, especially in activities relating to account management.
o   Perform various tasks, like recording minutes during meetings.
o   Follow-up on communications with clients, set-up meetings, review/edit correspondence, submittals, presentations.
o   Maintain records of clients (contracts, procurements, etc.) and of business development (tracking sheet).
o   Conduct research and make delivery on any intelligence that will have strong impact on proposition development for any new investment project of the organization.
o   Develop good knowledge regarding priority sectors, like market routes and trends; this enables the organization to improve on its effectiveness in service delivery.
o   Develop operational contacts, which will provide needed support for the tasks undertaken by the organization’s business development team.
o   Contribute to the management of the organization’s systems to ensure things are done accurately.
o   Assist the sales agents of the organization to complete clients visit reports and system development.
o   Cooperate in positive manner to the growth of the organization by providing required assistance to relevant staff and organization’s partners.
o   Support the Global Head of Business Development and CEO in all matters as requested.

Your background and skills
- Highly analytical and able to quickly understand and simply communicate a complex and highly innovative technology.
- Great networking skills. Able to create, hone and retain relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to create reports, tracking sheets, and carry-out customer relationship management (CRM)
- Experience with the transit industry, with passion for the mobility integration space.
