We’re looking for a passionate mobile marketer who has proven experience in leading a team and delivering best-in-class campaigns. You thrive in a forward thinking and collaborative environment, where your commercial outlook enables you to continually identify opportunities to scale App Acquisition as a channel.
Reporting to the Head of Biddable Media, the Senior Mobile Marketing Manager will be responsible and accountable for performance for App Acquisition across UK & INTL markets.
Working with both internal teams, including cross-functional missions & the creative studio, and external partners is critical to the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities

    • Define and execute with the team an effective app acquisition strategy for all performance marketing channels to promote new customer transactions through the Trainline app. 
    • Responsible for and accountable for budget management and optimisation for all app acquisition channels across the UK and International markets. 
    • Work in collaboration with other marketing channels, legal, product and analytics teams 
    • Build and prioritise a backlog filled with hypotheses on how to scale app acquisition channels to hit commercial targets and OKRs on channels such as Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, Meta, Snapchat and TikTok 
    • Deliver ASO strategy across Google Play Store and App Store by working closely with agency partners. 
    • Regularly communicate updates to multiple stakeholders across brand, performance and commercial on performance readouts, strategy, roadmap, and latest developments in mobile channels. 
    • Build a world class App Acquisition team, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, set goals and objectives, PD plans and continually review performance. 

Knowledge & Experience

    • Good understanding of multiple mobile user acquisition partners including Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, Snapchat, Meta, TikTok and DSPs. 
    • Good understanding of recent developments in Mobile measurement across both iOS and Android, including SKAdNetwork and incrementality. 
    • Good understanding of key performance metrics, e.g., LTV/CAC, ROAS and Payback periods. 
    • Advanced knowledge and experience of using at least one MMP (e.g.Appsflyer, Branch, Adjust) or data analytics tools such as AppSumer and Tableau. 
    • Experience managing and coaching a team
