WireScreen is a fast-growing Series A startup building the go-to open source intelligence platform for navigating global supply chains and China-related risk. While China maintains some of the world’s most detailed corporate ownership records, the real challenge is connecting the dots. That’s where we come in—surfacing the networks, relationships, and financial ties behind companies to support national security, compliance, and regulatory oversight.
Backed by Sequoia Capital and Harpoon Ventures, our team includes a two time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and senior engineers from Google, Twitter, and Oracle. We launched our product just three years ago and already have strong traction with top-tier government customers—and we’re just getting started. If you're excited to bring transparency to complex global systems, now’s the perfect time to join us.
Check out this blog from our CEO on how WireScreen traced DeepSeek’s origins back to 2023—well before it went mainstream in 2025.
About the role:
As the dedicated marketing lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining how we bring our products to market and communicate our value to customers. Reporting to our Founder and CEO, you’ll lead both strategy and execution across messaging, content, and GTM enablement—focusing on decision-makers in government, regulatory, and large enterprise settings.
We’re looking for a product marketer at heart who can flex across multiple marketing domains: someone who can deeply understand our products, obsess over customer insight, and translate both into high-impact messaging, collateral, and campaigns that drive pipeline and clarify our value. As a team of one, you’ll be both strategist and executor—stepping into a function with strong executive support, early groundwork laid, and lots of white space to build scalable systems, define positioning, and get things done. This role is hands-on by design: you’ll set the direction and own the delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Own product marketing and messaging—translate product capabilities and customer needs into clear positioning, compelling narratives, and differentiated collateral
- Lead our marketing strategy across public sector audiences, supporting sales through effective enablement materials and messaging
- Develop content that advances our thought leadership in OSINT, national security, and US-China risk—including briefs, webinars, videos, and whitepapers
- Refine and optimize our website, collateral, and top-of-funnel messaging based on customer feedback and performance data
- Own our presence at events, conferences, and webinars, ensuring our materials, booths, and messaging are world-class and leave a lasting impression
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to build feedback loops, capture customer language, and remove friction across the funnel
- Own our marketing operations—set up and manage basic dashboards and tools (e.g., HubSpot) to measure what matters and ensure accountability
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market analysis to inform our product positioning and go-to-market approach
- Be an early internal evangelist for modern, AI-enabled marketing tooling and processes that can scale our impact without bloated headcount
You Should Apply If You...
- Have 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or data intelligence companies targeting public sector, risk, regulatory, or global enterprise buyers
- Are a product marketing generalist who has built and led a marketing program from the ground up—you enjoy diving deep into a product, understanding its technical and business value, and translating that into sharp messaging and customer-facing materials
- Have experience supporting complex sales cycles—ideally those involving RFPs, compliance, or regulated buyer environments
- Are metrics-obsessed, and comfortable using HubSpot, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager to track and optimize campaign ROI
- Have experience running demand generation campaigns with real pipeline impact
- Are highly visual and can work with design tools or partners to make brochures, one-pagers, and web copy clear and compelling
- Are customer-obsessed—you seek input regularly, iterate fast, and use customer language to inform everything from headlines to demo decks
- Are creative and forward-thinking, with a strong pulse on modern marketing trends, tools, and channels
- Can prioritize ruthlessly, communicate clearly, and drive projects forward across multiple teams and timelines
Bonus Points If You...
- Have worked in the OSINT, geopolitical risk, or national security space
- Have marketed to public sector buyers and understand procurement cycles, contracting friction, and lead qualification nuances
- Have led website messaging refreshes and can speak to performance-driven iteration (e.g., A/B tests, heatmaps, CTA optimization)
- Have managed or executed executive-level webinars or private events targeting high-stakes audiences
$150,000 - $200,000 a year
+ Bonus + Equity
*Please note compensation may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location and experience.
