About Us:
Wirescreen.ai is a leading global intelligence platform, specializing in delivering comprehensive business, risk, and financial insights, with a particular focus on China and the intricate landscape of global supply chains. Our leadership team includes a Pulitzer Prize winner and senior engineers who scaled Google, Twitter, and Oracle. Backed by leading VC firms Sequoia Capital and Harpoon Ventures, WireScreen enables government agencies, regulatory bodies, and public institutions to conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, institutions, and the people who own, manage, and invest in them. With an extensive database covering private and public entities, topical risk flags, and curated collections, WireScreen streamlines regulatory analysis, supply chain diligence, and corporate governance assessments for public sector professionals.

As a Series A start-up, we’re in the beginning stages of an exciting journey! Though we've only been selling our product for two years, we already have an impressive customer list and a healthy pipeline of active prospects across multiple industries. We’re very encouraged by our initial success, customer response to our product, and the size of our addressable market. We must continue adding great teammates to keep scaling our revenue engine at an increasing pace.

As one of our early AEs, you’ll play an important role in helping strategize and execute our growth plan across the federal government and the adjacent ecosystem that serves it. Reporting to our head of sales, you’ll work closely with all leadership team members to drive new business acquisitions, accelerate our financial success, and contribute to the evolution of our products.
As a startup we all wear multiple hats, so you’ll need to be comfortable with both a revenue growth mandate and a broader portfolio of responsibilities. While there may be some ambiguity as we collectively learn and improve, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop a breadth of skills alongside a highly motivated, capable team.

What You'll Do At WireScreen:

    • Run point on our U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community business sales efforts as the ‘face of WireScreen’.
    • Oversee and expand the entire National Security territory.
    • Prospect new opportunities and run the full sales cycle, with support from other members of the team, from initial conversation through contract negotiation.
    • Exceed your quota and substantially increase our foothold in the National Security space through strategic prospecting and accurate pipeline forecasting.
    • Partner with customer success on cross-selling and upsell opportunities where sales involvement is required.
    • Apply best practices from your experience to define, implement, and operate an effective government-oriented sales program.
    • Collaborate with the head of sales to map our addressable market, and plan and execute our sales approach.
    • Contribute to the creation of high-value content showcasing WireScreen’s platform and practical use cases for integration into the sales cycle.
    • Develop a deep understanding of our customers and the problems we help them solve to constantly improve our value proposition.
    • Mentor other team members, developing their capabilities while guiding them through lessons learned from your experience.
    • Act as a cultural bar-raiser, emphasizing collaboration, inclusion, learning, and experimentation within the team.

Who You Are / You Have:

    • Over 5 years of experience as an account executive in a SaaS or DaaS company, with a focus on the US Federal Government; specific expertise in National Security sales is preferred.
    • Experience engaging with systems integrators, resellers, distributors, and other partners to expand market reach locally.
    • Knowledge of government contracting processes and requirements is imperative.
    • Verified ability to deliver against new business sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.
    • Self-starter with the curiosity and desire to research and identify key players, and generate overall WireScreen interest with customers and prospects alike.
    • The ability to thrive both in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
    • A desire to tackle new challenges with an analytical and creative mind, resilient in the face of setbacks, and driven to contribute to our shared success.
    • Clear communicator with high-caliber writing skills, capable of crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences.
    • Curiosity and interest in international relations, evolving U.S. - China dynamics specifically, would be highly valuable.
