Frontend Engineer II - Marketing
The Zebra is looking for a Frontend Engineer to help support our Marketing team. You will work on a subteam of our larger Marketing Development team to ensure a great first impression for our users. You will support everything from the vibrant and rich content ecosystem that builds our brand to the efforts of our performance and growth marketing teams. You will immediately contribute to critical components, inventing novel solutions to challenging problems. You should love releasing well-tested code, be ready to take ownership and be thrilled about having broad responsibilities within a fast-growing company in a massive industry.
We’re looking for someone with a solid set of skills that wants to learn and help us continuously improve. Our team is passionate about working together to solve interesting problems with technical solutions--and having fun doing it. With a team split between Austin and Africa, we know from experience the importance of diversity within Engineering teams, and we work constantly to ensure everyone has a voice and feels valued. What You'll Do:
- Work closely with other engineers, designers and Engineering Leadership to rapidly build, iterate, test, and deploy new features and products while maintaining a robust, high-quality codebase
- Improve and scale the existing products and tools
Our Match Made in Heaven:
- 3+ years of professional programming experience
- Exceptional and proven web development experience
- Proficiency writing semantic and accessible HTML/CSS
- A desire to follow and advocate exceptional software engineering processes (including test-driven development)
Experience That Would Impress The Heck Out of Us:
- Python experience
- Django experience
- Experience with one or more UI testing frameworks – Jest, Selenium, Cypress
- Degree in Computer Science or related fields
- A Github profile or public code portfolio
