Joining The Zebra as a Contact Experience Agent, you’ll be supporting our Sales Agency by directly interacting with our customers to answer their inquiries and deliver the absolute best contact experience possible.
This is an entry-level position that will allow you to develop the skills and knowledge you need to advance into a Licensed Sales Agent position.
What You'll Do:
- Handling New Business checks daily
- Handling Payment Line calls accordingly
- Handling Service overflow calls accordingly
You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers that visit our website, www.thezebra.com. As a Contact Experience Agent, you’ll use your skills to assist our customers and collect any required information to ensure their experience with The Zebra is a positive one. In addition you’ll be responsible for the following:
Triaging customers based on their request to ensure they will be speaking to the most appropriate person to address their individual needs.
Making outbound calls to follow-up on customer requests, collect payments, or obtain information required for individual policies.
Tracking customer requests and make recommendations to enhance the customer experience
Supporting our Sales and Services departments
Miscellaneous offline duties as required
What Will Impress Us:
- Prior experience with Customer Service or Sales, either on the phone or face to face.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Ability to work from home at least 66% of the time
- An interest in learning about insurance.
- The ability to obtain a P&C license by passing a licensing exam and meeting the Texas Department of Insurance background requirements.
- The willingness and ability to work within the organization to further optimize our user experience.
- The ability to both give and receive constructive feedback.
- A desire to learn about, understand and support The Zebra’s user experience, and
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
