As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions utilizing network technologies with focus on OT/SCADA environments. This position requires thought leadership, highly technical specialized experience, emotional intelligence, excellent customer focus, and a strong desire for growth. Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform assessments within manufacturing, energy, oil, gas, or other critical infrastructure environments identifying network and security recommendations relating directly to industry OT standards.
- Architect and implement solutions within the Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto families to include advanced SDN, SD-WAN, and security features, Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and/or Honeywell SCADA/PLC’s platforms a plus.
- Execution of OT, IIoT, environment assessments, develop environment visibility and segmentation strategies, and “Zero Trust” methodologies.
- Develop design and migration plans for enhanced Purdue model and other industrial standards-based network plans.
- Perform firewall architecture and configuration in accordance with industry best practices and approved compliance standards, such as (NERC/CIP, CIS).
- Lead technical delivery efforts during project engagement.
- Lead the creation of written deliverables and executive level presentations.
- Lead client workshops, as well as explain highly complex solutions to clients.
- Ability to communicate beyond tactics and technology; ability to guide client leadership in strategic directions.
- Influence direct team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices, and procedures.
- Mentor junior staff and support project leadership.
- Obtain and maintain certifications with associated qualifications.
Qualifications
- CCNP or equivalent skill-set minimum, prefer CCIE. Advanced Palo Alto (PCNSE, PCNSC), Fortinet (NSE4/7 OT/IIoT) certifications a plus.
- ICS/SCADA, SANS, ISO/IEC OT standards
- Expert level implementation / architecture skills with network and network security related technologies
- Mastery in at least one network related technology such as industrial wireless, network segmentation
- Knowledge and experience with various SCADA/industrial systems. This includes deep knowledge of the Purdue model.
- Understanding of industrial networking protocols (MQTT, ModBus, DNB, etc.)
- Rudimentary understanding of industrial / open wireless systems (Lora, ISA100, etc.)
- Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills
