About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Facilities & Maintenance Manager performs, oversees, and maintains all installation, repair, and preventative maintenance and facilities functions. This is a highly collaborative role, and the person in this position has a solid understanding and working knowledge of maintenance processes, installation, and safety regulations in a large manufacturing setting.

This role is 100% onsite in Burlington, NJ.

How you'll make a difference:

    • Oversee the maintenance and custodial teams and provide leadership and coaching
    • Ensure all health, safety, and OSHA regulations are followed pertaining to maintenance programs
    • Develop and execute equipment and machinery training for staff
    • Identify recruitment needs and partner with Talent Acquisition to recruit, interview, and hire talent
    • Collaborate with leadership team to identify facility layout and manufacturing process improvements
    • Monitor, evaluate, and inspect the interior of the building and the exterior of the property, including equipment and surrounding grounds for deficiencies, potential safety, health, or code problems, and necessary repairs
    • Process and execute work orders; oversee  renovations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery in the workplace 
    • Oversee implementation of new machinery for the facility
    • Identify, onboard, and manage 3rd Party Maintenance service providers when required
    • Monitor and manage equipment inventory; order equipment and schedule repairs as necessary
    • Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance programs(PMPs) 
    • Identify short-term and long-term equipment and facility needs and plan accordingly

Who you are:

    • 5+ years experience as a facilities and/or maintenance manager, maintenance supervisor, or relevant experience with at least 4+ years of supervisory or management experience; industrial kitchen and production equipment experience highly preferred
    • Experience with and understanding of company expansion efforts from a holistic growth perspective highly preferred
    • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Practitioner(CMRP) or other maintenance certificate and coursework highly preferred
    • Working knowledge and hands on experience building and overseeing preventative maintenance programs
    • Solid understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and industrial equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, equipment, and process schematics
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely explain information to a variety of audiences and stakeholders
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities
    • Ability to successfully and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
    • Tech-savvy approach with everyday tasks and communication; comfortable with G-Suite and Slack a big plus
$110,000 - $130,000 a year
This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, with an expected annual salary range of $110,000 to $130,000. A variety of factors are considered when determining an individual's compensation, including a candidate’s professional background, education, certifications, experience, professional licenses, and location. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed.
