The Role

Thrasio, a next-generation consumer goods company, is seeking a CyberSecurity Systems Admin II to lead and manage our security operations function as well as support our IT compliance efforts. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding Thrasio's critical infrastructure, data, and applications from ever-evolving cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage Thrasio's overall cyber security program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
    • Oversee and manage Security Operations Center (SOC) operations, including security incident and event management (SIEM), threat detection, investigation, and response.
    • Lead a team of security analysts in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents.
    • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards to mitigate cyber risks.
    • Work collaboratively with IT and other departments to integrate security best practices into business processes.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities, implementing appropriate security controls to mitigate risks.
    • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
    • Manage and maintain security tools and technologies.
    • Provide security awareness training to employees.
    • Incident reporting and escalation procedures.
    • Support the implementation and maturity of IT General Computing Controls (ITGCs)

What You Bring to the Party:

    • 5+ years of experience in cyber security operations, focusing on security operations center (SOC) management.
    • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive cybersecurity program.
    • In-depth knowledge of security best practices, frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST CSF), and compliance regulations.
    • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
    • Experience with threat detection, investigation, and incident response methodologies.
    • Excellent understanding of network security concepts and technologies.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CCSP.

Nice to Have But Not Required:

    • Experience in a consumer goods or e-commerce environment.
    • Experience with cloud security.
    • Experience with security automation tools.
    • Experience with global privacy regulations.
