The Role
The Senior Specialist, Fulfillment Operations would be responsible for managing the relationship between Thrasio and our Third/Fourth Party Warehousing Partners. This role would be focused on the execution of Thrasio’s Logistics network strategy and would own the day-to-day management between the 3PL and Thrasio. Serving as the escalation point for the operational teams and owning the performance of vendors within Thrasio. This role will also manage the analysis of vendor performance, SLA management (Inbound, Outbound, NCI, inventory control, etc.), and continuous improvement of vendor’s operations and or the way Thrasio utilizes the vendor. This role would be responsible for providing the data and assisting the executing of Quarterly Vendor Reviews for Thrasio’s warehousing vendors.

Responsibilities

    • Manage 3PL Networks by tracking key operational data points, overseeing contract commitments, monitoring inventory levels, and working as the main stakeholder with the 3PL partner’s. 
    • Supporting the day-to-day operations of the Omnichannel, Global Mile Logistics, and any other operational groups within Thrasio.
    • Monitoring and assisting in 3PL capacity modeling and planning.
    • Act as the vendor manager for Key 3PL Relationships for Thrasio across the globe. 
    • Monitoring SLAs and Other contractual commitments at the 3PL Partners.
    • Prepare data to be reviewed by Network Operations Team and leadership to review 3PL performance on a quarterly basis.
    • Serve as a single point of contact for external and internal stakeholders across all departments at Thrasio. 
    • Create Standard Operating Procedures and Train our 3PL partners on previously mentioned SOPs.

What You Bring to the Party

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
    • 3-5 years of experience in direct-to-consumer, e-commerce or retail industry.
    • Experience with managing vendor relationships.
    • Experienced and/or certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or APICs.
    • Skilled in using spreadsheet apps: Excel, Google Sheets, Smartsheets.
    • Ability to organize and parse large sets of data from multiple sources.
    • Understand the nuance of data analysis and forecasting. You love solving problems by dissecting data.
    • Comfortable presenting data, insights, and recommendations.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects at once with changing priorities.
    • Enjoy collaborating with team members and outside vendors.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to quick changes with a bias for action.
    • Customer-obsession and focus on the end Thrasio consumer.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with other teams and achieving buy-in from other team members.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time in peak seasons.

We believe that all employees should be paid fairly and equitably.  As of the time of this posting, the expected base annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $62,000.  (For non-exempt roles, this reflects the expected base annual “salary” as calculated by the base hourly wage multiplied by the expected number of hours worked over a one year period, excluding any overtime and premiums.)   The actual base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as business needs and limitations.  As a result, compensation may vary within and across similar roles and positions. Please note that the base annual salary range information set forth above is a good faith estimate for this position and actual compensation for any individual may fall outside this range if warranted by the circumstances applicable to that individual. If we identify a role that would be suitable for a broader range of skills and experience such that we would consider hiring at multiple levels then the range listed above may reflect that breadth.  If offered a position, the actual base annual salary will be contained in your offer letter.

In addition to the base annual salary listed above, this position is eligible for short-term [and long-term] incentive compensation, as well as benefits, which are subject to the applicable plans, policies and definitive documentation regarding such compensation and benefits.
