Overview:
Threat Tec is seeking a highly qualified Training and Development Specialist to support the 1st Space Brigade at Fort Carson, Colorado. This position requires expertise in Army training management processes, Space operations support, and Ballistic Missile Defense Systems. The successful candidate will assist in training development, implementation, and assessments, ensuring high standards of military readiness and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and implement training programs supporting the 1st Space Brigade’s operational readiness.
    • Apply knowledge of Army training management processes and standards to ensure effective training delivery.
    • Support the development of FSO METLs and ensure adherence to SMDC Standards and Evaluation programs.
    • Leverage expertise with DRRS-S and NetUSR for assessing training progress and readiness.
    • Assist in the execution of training initiatives focused on Ballistic Missile Defense System assets, Command and Control systems, and other critical military technologies.
    • Support MDB training and development operations.

Qualifications

    • Mist have TS Clearance on day 1 and be SCI Eligible
    • General understanding of Space support operations at the brigade level or higher.
    • In-depth knowledge of Army training management processes and standards.
    • Expertise in FSO METL development and the SMDC Standards and Evaluation programs.
    • Proficiency in DRRS-S and NetUSR systems.
    • Strong familiarity with Ballistic Missile Defense System assets and architecture.
    • Graduate of one or more relevant courses: Sensor Manager Qualification Course, Sensor Manager Leader Development Course, Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications Planner’s Course, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Tactician, THAAD Technician, or THAAD Follow-On.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
    • Completion of Space 200 is desired but not required.

Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
    • Military experience in training and development or related fields highly desirable.
