THE ROLE

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven marketer to lead our promotional and brand marketing programs, as the Sr. Manager, Promotional Strategy & Partner Marketing — someone equally excited about diving into campaign analytics as they are crafting the next big idea. You’ll own our high-volume promotional calendar, partner marketing initiatives, and onsite brand features, turning insights into strategies that drive growth, engagement, and discovery. From shaping category-wide promotions to delivering standout seasonal campaigns, you’ll collaborate across teams, manage budgets and P&Ls, and bring bold ideas to life. If you’re passionate about e-commerce, love blending creativity with analytics, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is your chance to make a major impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the charge on reimagining our daily promotional strategy, overhauling a high-volume, fast-paced calendar to drive long-term company and category growth.
    • Pull, analyze, and present promotional campaign performance data on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis — using these insights to inform ongoing adjustments and improvements.
    • Use your deep understanding of what works (and what doesn’t) to fine-tune promotional financial forecasts and keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Oversee the promotional P&L for our owned brands (Thrive Market Goods, Rosey, wellmade & f.a.e.), leveraging data to advise on assortment inclusion and shape ongoing strategy.
    • Support (and often headline!) company-wide and executive-level presentations, turning complex promotional results into clear, actionable narratives.
    • Brand Marketing
    • Lead the charge on building high-volume, high-growth partner marketing programs that put our brands front and center — collaborating across multiple arms of the Marketing team to deliver best-in-class campaigns across email, social, blog, and beyond.
    • Own internal P&L for partner marketing initiatives, ensuring that programs are strategically planned to meet and exceed annual funding goals.
    • Own strategy and execution for onsite marketing features, including homepage banners, category headers, and seasonal spotlights, partnering closely with product and design to ensure high-visibility campaigns drive discovery, engagement and conversion.
    • Oversee marketing efforts across all channels for key seasonal campaigns, creating fun, engaging, and seasonally relevant ideas that wow our members, drive deeper engagement, and surface new and exciting products.
    • Identify and implement solutions and partnerships that drive efficiency, simplify processes, and enhance workflow, ensuring high-impact (and high-touch) projects move seamlessly from concept to completion.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • E-commerce Expertise: Proven experience in e-commerce, with a strong preference for backgrounds in CPG. You understand the landscape and know how to optimize strategies for maximum impact in a digital-first world.
    • Promotional Strategy Leadership: Several years of hands-on experience managing and executing revenue-driving promotional strategies, with a clear point of view on what makes a campaign best-in-class and how to optimize for both engagement and revenue growth.
    • Brand Marketing Vision: A keen eye for brand marketing, with the ability to craft and execute compelling storytelling that resonates with partners and provides clear, measurable value. You bring relentless attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the brand narrative is carefully executed and impactful.
    • Data-Driven Decision-Maker: Comfortable pulling and analyzing data to identify trends, measure performance, and refine strategies, always using insights to drive continuous improvement and greater business impact. Bonus points for experience with overall P&L management and using data to optimize decision-making and maximize profitability.
    • People Management: Experienced in leading and mentoring small teams, with a track record of fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance in others.
    • Scrappy & Adaptable: Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and thriving in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment. You take on challenges with grit and a "can-do" attitude, no matter how much is on your plate.
    • Passion for the Thrive Market Mission: A deep passion for the Thrive Market mission and a commitment to healthy living. You’re motivated by making an impact on both the business and the communities we serve!
