THE ROLE
 
Thrive Market’s Product Management team is looking for a highly quantitative, strategic, and results-driven Senior Product Manager to lead and integrate our E-commerce, Ads, and Monetization efforts into one cohesive function. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering a world-class shopping experience for every category in Thrive Market’s catalog, partnering closely with our Merchandising team to streamline vendor and SKU onboarding, while also focusing on revenue optimization through strategic advertising and competitive pricing initiatives. This role will partner closely with our Merchandising team to ensure our product assortment and pricing strategies reflect competitive market realities, all while seamlessly integrating advertising tools to maximize vendor success.

You will play a key role in identifying strategic business opportunities, shaping the front-end and back-end experience, and influencing how inventory and pricing are both configured and displayed to our members. As part of this, you will take a hands-on approach to developing, implementing, and scaling both E-commerce solutions and advertising/monetization strategies. The goal is to combine discovery and reach into one powerful engine that drives engagement, revenue, and brand launches on our platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute product strategies that seamlessly fuse e-commerce solutions and ads/monetization initiatives. Work cross-functionally with merchandising, engineering, design, analytics, and other teams to bring these strategies to life.
    • Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to build tools for vendor management, influence inventory displays, competitive pricing, and UX, while ensuring seamless brand launch and product discovery experiences.
    • Drive the advertising and monetization strategy across digital platforms to maximize revenue growth while maintaining a positive user experience. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align ads with business goals.
    • Own the end-to-end customer journey for our diverse set of categories, evaluating both the front-end user experience and back-end tools. Constantly identify opportunities to enhance member engagement, improve conversion rates, and optimize average order value (AOV) across all platforms—desktop, mobile web, and native apps.
    • Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision-making, test hypotheses, and execute A/B testing to enhance both the member and advertiser experience. Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success of your initiatives.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and user behavior to inform advertising platform strategies and product enhancements that keep Thrive Market competitive.
    • Work closely with engineering and development teams to ensure business needs are translated into actionable product requirements, creating measurable deliverables that drive business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on both backend/tools and frontend of E-commerce
    • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing ads/monetization strategies that drive significant revenue growth is a plus
    • 5+ years of experience in native consumer mobile apps
    • Proven track record of successfully developing and launching products in a consumer-facing e-commerce environment
    • Strong expertise in data-driven decision-making, including A/B testing and user behavior analysis
    • Excellent collaboration skills and experience working closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, merchandising, and marketing
    • Superior communication and storytelling skills to influence stakeholders at all levels
    • Strong project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Deep empathy for the customer journey and an affinity for Thrive Market’s mission to bring affordable, healthy products to all members
    • Experience with subscription models and online grocery is a plus

JOB INFORMATION

    • Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $210,000/Per Year.
    • Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
