Office Manager

Los Angeles
Talent and Organization
Full-time

We're looking for an energetic, well organized, and hospitality-minded Office Manager to help create a productive work environment filled with delightful moments for our team each and every day.  We believe that wellness is much more than what you eat – it’s your work environment, it’s your commute, and it’s all the other details that add up to “Thriving”. In this role you’ll consider all the details and be meticulous in your efforts to enable others to do their best work. You'll be wondering if maybe lunch is best served 20 minutes earlier, or another desk setup would decrease foot traffic. You'll apply an event-planner’s style and an office manager's discipline to keep things in tip-top shape while maintaining a fun, fluid work environment. We move fast around here, and we’re on a mission that hasn’t been accomplished yet. That means we’re always multi-tasking with a smile! The right person will be customer service obsessed, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and take a creative problem solving approach to everything.

Responsibilities

    • Be an organizational strategist: keep things tidy, accessible, and safe
    • Handle all purchasing and vendor management, including working with daily lunch caterers and stocking supplies
    • Maintain office supplies by tracking inventory and ordering supplies through various vendors
    • Manage routine maintenance and service of facility by responding to and resolving facilities based requests, complaints and queries
    • Welcome new employees by setting up slick workstations
    •  Assist with front desk coverage during business hours and provide friendly assistance to all our guests and employees
    • Ensure all aspects of the office are neatly organized, including the kitchen, supplies, conference rooms, storage areas, etc
    • Assist with event set ups and execution
    • Squash emergencies: handle internet outages, broken equipment, or lack of gluten-free pizza before anyone else even realizes there’s a problem

Qualifications

    • Prior office management or customer service experience and a passion for exceeding expectations
    • Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Docs, and Excel
    • Excellent organizational and time- management skills
    • Motivated self-starter who takes pride in creating awesome experiences for others
    • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
    • Strong work ethic with a “can do” positive attitude
    • A valid driver license and vehicle, with ability to travel between our two LA offices regularly
    • The courage and grit to contribute to a fast-growing startup
