Thuma is seeking proactive Retail Associates to join the team in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Retail Associates will exhibit an inviting, elevated, confident and friendly attitude whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience as part of our first Flagship store team.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver and maintain an outstanding level of customer service at all times
    • Maintain the stores visual identity within brand guidelines through merchandising and stock replenishment
    • Showcase excellent product and brand knowledge
    • Work purposefully as part of a team to ensure daily objectives and goals are met
    • Successfully operate all systems including POS, Inventory and clienteling. 
    • Act as a Thuma Brand Ambassador
    • Manage client relationships effectively with the help and guidance from the General Manager and the Store Manager
    • Foster customer relationships beyond the store walls via clienteling 
    • Assist ecommerce Customer Experience team in responding to customer service emails when necessary
    • Step into the cafe when needed, taking orders and serving customers with precision and care.
    • Maintain store appearance and cleanliness on a daily basis
    • Other activities and functions to facilitate store success as necessary. 

What You’ll Need:

    • This job requires availability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional holidays. 
    • This job requires the ability to work in-person at the Thuma Flagship Store in NYC
    • A minimum of 2 years experience in Retail
    • A proven record in delivering excellent customer service within a similar retail environment
    • Keen attention to detail
    • A proactive and motivated individual with the ability to take initiative
    • Computer and till system literate
    • Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
$20 - $25 an hour
Thuma provides an estimate of the compensation for roles that may be hired as required by state regulations.
