The Thuma team is looking to hire an Associate Producer. Reporting to the Art Director, this role will be responsible for all things pre production through post production and promoting fresh concepts to deliver the highest creative output.

Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. This is a hybrid role, and while we don’t mandate any in-office time, candidates should be available to come into our SF office.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Support manager and team with e-commerce and editorial production budgets; yearly budget planning, financial tracking by invoicing, reconciling expenses, tracking and communicating budget spending, while always proactively seeking cost savings
    • Continuously look for ways to improve processes, identifying gaps in our capabilities and communication
    • Support Art Director by developing detailed production schedules for photoshoots, ensuring all elements are organized and align with high level creative needs
    • Handle communication from pre-production to post-production, including delivery and digital file organization of final assets. 
    • Manage relationships with production vendors
    • Support in communication, timelines, budgets, talent bookings, location sourcing, equipment rental, permits, and check-ins/meetings associated with photo/video production
    • Ownership of administrative tasks such as file management and organization, Worksome contracts, and keeping assets up-to-date.
    • Encourage and innovate new ideas to provide the highest possible quality creative output for the brand
    • Provide regular updates to production team on project status, timelines, and potential challenges

This Might Describe You:

    • 2+ years of project management experience, ideally within a creative and marketing in-house brand or agency
    • Strong understanding and respect for the creative process 
    • Ideally have experience with Asana or similar softwares
    • Experienced effective multi-tasker, able to work under pressure and under multiple deadlines
    • Strong experience managing multiple projects and deadlines, ability to be resourceful and proactive
    • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Strong digital project experience and knowledge of digital file types and specs
    • Passion for communication, problem solving, and execution
    • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals and personalities
    • Existing relationships with agencies, photographers, videographers, stylists, editors, etc. a plus 
    • The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating photoshoots, managing budgets, and working cross functionally to ensure smooth execution of creative projects
$67,000 - $77,000 a year
Thuma provides an estimate of the compensation for roles that may be hired as required by state regulations.
