The Thuma team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help us grow and evolve our eCommerce storefront. We hire for integrity, initiative, collaborative spirit, open mindedness, and willingness to learn. 

At Thuma, Engineers are responsible for shaping Thuma’s digital storefront, supporting our analytics and advertising pipelines, and building and maintaining tools to keep internal teams as productive as possible.  

Thuma’s Headquarters is based in the historic Presidio neighborhood of San Francisco. This role is based in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

    • Implement, iterate, and test Thuma’s presentational component library.
    • Build and maintain the next iterations of the Thuma storefront.
    • Maintain and extend our eventing and analytics pipelines.
    • Develop internal tools to support our eCommerce, customer experience, analytics, and logistics teams.
    • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and translate them into technical requirements and solutions.
    • Lead the technical implementation of React JS, Type Script, Remix, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
    • Mentor junior developers, provide code reviews, and share best practices to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

    • You share new ideas, tools, and patterns with your teammates.

What You'll Need

    • 5-7 years of experience in making websites (preferably using React).
    • eCommerce experience is not required, but is preferred.
    • Willingness to adapt rapidly to changing requirements and maintain a positive attitude.
    • Capacity to work asynchronously with colleagues in other timezones while maintaining effective, concise and clear communication.

$120,000 - $140,000 a year
Thuma provides an estimate of the compensation for roles that may be hired as required by state regulations. Compensation may vary based on (a) location, as Thuma factors in specific location when benchmarking compensation for most roles; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience.
