As a Data Product Manager, you will play a key role in managing data platform products and ensuring they align with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives, improve data accessibility, and enhance data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong mix of business understanding and technical knowledge to prioritize and deliver data-related features effectively.
Your main duties in flying with us:
- Support the management and development of data products.
- Define the data product strategy and roadmap.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and balance business needs with technical feasibility.
- Contribute to the documentation of data products to ensure clarity and usability.
- Work with data engineering and analytics teams to improve data accessibility and usability.
- Help translate large data initiatives into actionable deliverables.
- Assist in running beta and pilot programs for new features.
- Support problem-solving for data-related challenges and enhancements.
Mandatory belongings that you must prepare:
- At least 2-4 years of experience in data product, or related field
- Experience working with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
- Prior experience managing data-related products or projects.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across teams.
- Some experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and data product stacks.
- Familiarity with data storage, pipelines, and dashboards.
- Working knowledge of SQL scripting and data integration.
- Basic understanding of API integration concepts (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
