As a Project Executive at Titan Electric, you are entrusted with the account management and strategic operations for one of several mission critical/data center electrical construction projects. Your primary task is the adept management of a high-performing team, including Sr Project Managers, Project Managers, and their respective teams.
 
Driving planning, execution, and ensuring financial success, you will employ business practices aligned with our core values. This strategic role demands the leverage of your technical knowledge, business acumen, and people management skills.
 
Ideally, you bring a wealth of experience, with at least ten years in complex electrical construction, managing teams, and cultivating client relationships within the mission critical/data center market.


What You Will Do

    • Strategic Financial Leadership: Champion the financial success of projects by strategically managing budgets, implementing cost controls, and ensuring profitability. Your focus on financial acumen is pivotal to optimizing revenue growth and contributing to Titan Electric's overall financial success.
    • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture client/account relationships with the goal of securing additional projects. Demonstrate effective communication, empathy, and a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction, tying in financial success.
    • Project Oversight: Manage projects from initiation to profitable completion, ensuring all Titan Electric projects and contractual commitments are met professionally. Adhere to company processes and procedures with a financial lens.
    • Team Management: Lead and manage a high-performance team, including Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, ensuring successful project planning, execution, and heightened attention to financial performance.
    • Business Development: Actively participate in bringing in electrical construction work, showcasing the technical, human, and conceptual skills required for successful project management with an acute awareness of financial implications.
    • Strategic Operations: Drive business practices consistent with our core values. Utilize technical knowledge, business acumen, and people management skills to achieve project success with a heightened focus on financial outcomes.
    • Resource Management: Oversee Titan Electric resources, including support personnel, materials, and associated paperwork requirements. Ensure compliance with all Titan Electric processes, emphasizing financial stewardship.
    • Mentorship and Development: Enthusiastically mentor and develop team members, committing to continuous learning and improvement. Foster a culture of excellence and innovation, recognizing the financial impact of individual and team growth.
    • Documentation and Closeout: Accountable for the creation, accuracy, and submission of final closeout documentation and deliverables, including as-built maps and diagrams.
    • Other Duties as Assigned.

What You Will Need

    • Financial Management: Candidates must showcase expertise in managing project finances, including budgeting and cost controls in mission critical/data center electrical construction. Proven proficiency in estimating, cost accounting, and strategic resource allocation is essential for optimizing financial outcomes and ensuring projects align with specified parameters.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a related field, demonstrating proficiency in Electrical project management and Electrical Construction for mission critical/data center projects.
    • Safety Knowledge: Working knowledge of safe construction practices and processes in the construction industry.
    • Customer Relations: Strong customer-facing skills and experience collaborating with customers & General Contractors on large-scale buildings.
    • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management, employing the PMBOK methodology.
    • Relocation: Willingness to relocate to the Chicago area.
    • Quoting: Familiarity with Procore, Conest, construction software and scheduling.
