A fast-growing digital marketing agency specializing in scalable direct-response Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns for a select number of exciting clients is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Chief Operating Officer. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the founder by overseeing agency operations, building and managing high-performing teams and driving overall business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in operational excellence.

What You'll Do
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the agency, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Implement and optimize processes to improve productivity and scalability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business goals are met and exceeded.
- Team Building and Leadership:
- Lead recruitment efforts to build out high-performing teams that support our clients' needs.
- Develop and implement training programs to foster professional growth and development.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Client Relations and Account Management:
- Collaborate with the founder to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Oversee people management - ensuring that teams that are built out are exceeding client KPI targets
- Strategic Planning and Growth:
- Collaborate with the founder to develop and execute the agency's strategic vision and growth plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential areas for expansion.
- Lead initiatives to improve service offerings and enhance competitive positioning in the market.
- Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
- Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the agency at the forefront of digital advertising.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance service delivery and client performance.
What You Need
- Leadership Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital advertising or a related field, with a focus on performance marketing. Proven track record in a senior leadership role, preferably as a COO or similar position.
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Proven experience in managing and growing high-performing teams in a remote environment. Understanding the best practices for remote work, including communication, collaboration, and maintaining team engagement and productivity.
- Extensive experience in client relationship management, with a focus on ensuring client satisfaction and driving business growth.
- Strong background in operational management, including process optimization, KPI monitoring, and financial oversight.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive business growth and improve service offerings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address and resolve complex issues efficiently and effectively.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Deep understanding of Meta and TikTok advertising platforms and familiarity with financial management software and tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in digital marketing, business administration, or related fields are a plus.
