A Microsoft-centric Managed Services Provider that propels businesses into the digital age, with a global clientele and a diverse team distributed across various geographies, is looking for a skilled Technical Account  Manager to join its growing team.                       

As the Technical Account Manager, you will provide dedicated, on-site support to ensure client environments meet the company’s technology standards. You’ll blend hands-on implementation, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement—onboarding new tools, auditing IT practices, and resolving both immediate and recurring issues without adding client costs. The TAM also serves as a partner in long-term problem management by uncovering recurring issues and driving permanent solutions.                        

This position manages the technical relationship with their dedicated clients.  It does not directly manage staff but may lead on-site activities and provide tactical direction to support teams during project implementations or issue escalations.        

What You'll Do

    • Onsite Problem Management for Issue Prevention                    
    • Deliver hands-on support that resolves technical issues and prevents reoccurrence.                
    • Maintain a consistent on-site presence to foster client trust, build rapport, and represent the company's brand.                   
    • Technology Implementation                   
    • Deploy and configure new hardware, software, and services within client environments.              
    • Ensure local implementation aligns with the company's standards and client expectations.                   
    • Monthly Change Management                       
    • Contribute 4–8 hours per client per month for proactive improvements and environmental hardening.                      
    • Deliver value-driven changes without generating incremental project costs.                      
    • Local Audits and Documentation                           
    • Conduct thorough local audits to identify stack gaps or non-compliance.                         
    • Maintain up-to-date environment documentation to support operational excellence.                  
    • Problem Management Participation                          
    • Identify and document recurring issues in the client environment.                       
    • Collaborate with internal teams to propose and implement long-term solutions.         

What You Need

    • 5+ years in an IT support, systems administration, or technical consulting role.                  
    • Prior client-facing experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or IT services firm preferred.                  
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently in client environments.                
    • Education:                       
    • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.                     
    • Expertise:                     
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, and networking.                   
    • Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop deployment, printer management, and local infrastructure.                       
    • Familiarity with PSA/RMM tools such as ConnectWise and RMM.                         
    • Ability to lead technical projects onsite and manage client communication professionally.            
    • Effective at prioritizing work and documenting technical environments.                    
    • Relevant Certifications (Preferred):                      
    • CompTIA A+ or Network+                   
    • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate                  
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)                    
    • ConnectWise PSA/RMM Certification                    
    • ITIL Foundation v4                              

Salary & Benefits

    • Location: Onsite in San Gabriel Valley / La Verne, CA.               
    • Salary: $120k - $140k / year.                  
    • This is a full-time, long-term position.                       
    • The position is immediately available.                      
    • Based "In office" at different client sites (all in Southern California).            
    • Monday through Friday.

$120,000 - $140,000 a year
