We are looking for a Category Manager for TikTok to own the performance and growth strategy on one of the fastest-moving digital platforms in the world. This role is ideal for someone who has worked at TikTok, with a TikTok Shop Partner (TSP), or in a brand-facing category role, and is ready to turn insights into execution at scale.
You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities, analyzing platform data, shaping go-to-market strategies, and optimizing the brand’s footprint across TikTok Shop. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, content, commerce, and growth, and is built for someone who gets TikTok not just as a platform, but as a behavior. What You'll Do
- Own TikTok Shop performance across product listing/strategy, category positioning, promotions/campaigns, and creator/influencer strategy.
- Act as the bridge between the brand and our TikTok account management contacts to influence placement, participation in campaigns, and early access to features.
- Analyze and report on sales performance, traffic trends, ROI, and market data to inform daily decisions.
- Develop short- and long-term plans to scale presence in the platform’s home care category.
- Optimize creative strategy in partnership with the content and performance teams to align with TikTok commerce trends.
- Monitor competitors, benchmark performance, and surface platform-level insights to inform internal teams.
- You’ll report to the VP of growth and work closely with the CEO.
What You Need
- 3–4 years of experience in eCommerce, growth, or category management, ideally with direct exposure to TikTok or a TikTok Shop Partner.
- Proven ability to work with performance data, build reports, and make insight-driven recommendations.
- Strong understanding of the TikTok algorithm, platform dynamics, and in-app commerce trends.
- Experience working cross-functionally with creators, ad buyers, and content teams.
- Deep knowledge of DTC or CPG business models.
- Self-starter with strong communication and a test-and-learn mindset.
Salary & Perks
- Location: Santa Monica, CA.
- Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 / Year + Equity.
- This is a full-time, long-term position.
- The position is immediately available.
- Onsite in the Santa Monica office.
- Monday through Friday.
