Site Reliability Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help drive forward the platform at Token.io.
Our SRE team work closely with client facing teams and internal Engineering to make the service highly reliable and scalable.

Here's what you get to do

    • Design, develop, implement and own products and solutions to improve the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and systems in the workload orchestration domain.
    • Collaborate with product, customers, and stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right products and solutions
    • Work within and experience building PCI-DSS / ISO27k regulated platforms (DevSecOps)
    • Take an active part in defining the strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.
    • Participate in on-call rotations along with every member of the engineering team
    • Opening up communication channels between every part of Token.io to resolve issues and improve processes

Previous experience must haves

    • Hands-on, production expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes Clusters 
    • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in AWS Cloud
    • Solid coding skills in Java, Go, or Python
    • Strong background in Terraform for managing multi-environment deployments and infrastructure as code
    • Experience running non-trivial CI/CD pipelines (We are using GithubActions, ArgoCD)
    • Experience working with PKI and X509 certificates
    • Observability, troubleshooting and incident management experience

Nice to haves

    • Backend development experience
    • Familiarity with Mesh solutions
    • Exposure to APM technologies
    • Experience working with distroless container images
    • Experience with cloud-based HSM
