About The Role
Torch is seeking an empathetic, analytical and energetic manager who has a track record of working with high performing teams. In this role you will own the development and execution of people operations that will scale with Torch’s rapidly growing marketplace business. You will work closely with the team on rolling out company policies and human resources initiatives. Having a sense of the health of employee satisfaction at the company and standardizing processes for personnel management are examples of initiatives that fall under the purview of this role.  

What You Will Do
Build and lead the people operations initiatives at Torch:
-- Develop high standards for execution by evolving and owning People KPIs for the team
-- Standardize cross functional processes that will scale with Torch’s next 10x of growth 
-- Create and subsequently implement policies and standards across the company for personnel management, performance management and other internal policies
-- Implement initiatives that continue to make Torch a wonderful place to work
-- Optimize and maintain Payroll systems, tools, and data
--  Be a culture champion and help develop, participate and lead various culture initiatives
-- Implement business improvement tools or software solutions that improve organizational efficiency 

About You
-- A proven, results focused operator who has experience in a high growth environment
-- Experience with a high performing people operations team; preferable at a tech company
-- A big picture mindset and an analytical problem solver who is always thinking ahead
-- Excellent communications skills with a team first approach; has worked with a rapidly growing team
-- Ability to balance many initiatives with differing requirements and expectations
-- Has a bias for action and is comfortable in a fast-paced, work environment
-- Energized by maximizing impact and working with a diverse group of sharp, motivated teammates to solve the unique challenges of tomorrow
-- 3+ years of work experience
