The Software Training Consultant reports to the Senior Manager of Training and Education and is a key member of the collaborative Training and Education Team. This role is responsible for delivering engaging, effective software training sessions that drive user adoption and customer success with the Total Expert platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to tailor training experiences that meet the unique needs of each organization, helping users gain confidence and achieve results through the platform.

This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence at our St. Louis Park, MN office 3 days per week.

What you’ll be doing:
·       Deliver engaging, instructor-led training sessions—virtually and in person—to customer organizations, supporting groups ranging from 5 to 1000 people.
·       Demonstrate platform functionality and guide users through workflows, best practices, and hands-on exercises that support successful platform adoption.
·       Assist with software configuration for customer environments and deliver customer-specific training sessions in partnership with Project Managers.
·       Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Total Expert platform and the financial services industry to confidently support customer training and inquiries.
·       Promote adoption and user engagement by clearly communicating the value of the platform and helping customers connect it to their business goals.
·       Identify opportunities to improve the training experience by providing feedback on tools, processes, and content.
·       Collaborate with subject matter experts and teammates to design and update training materials that reflect current platform capabilities and customer use cases.
·       Support the training lifecycle by coordinating your training calendar, tailoring sessions to customer needs, and following up to reinforce learning and adoption.
·       Travel up to 20% of the time for onsite customer training, events, or internal team meetings.

What we are looking for:
·       3+ years of experience in software training, customer education, SaaS implementation, or learning & development, ideally in a B2B environment.
·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
·       Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
·       Comfortable leading training sessions virtually and in person, with strong group facilitation skills.
·       Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning and delivering training.
·       A proactive, professional attitude and customer-first mindset.
·       Familiarity with instructional design and adult learning principles is a plus.
·       Mortgage and/or financial services industry experience is a bonus, but not required.
·       Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.


Compensation/Benefits: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Final total compensation offered is dependent upon the selected individual's qualifications and experience. This role is also eligible for variable pay based on company performance and other factors.
