The Content Editor is responsible for developing and supporting creative projects for a variety of channels including (but not limited to) digital, social, product and in-house material. They will be primarily responsible for the research and creation of new landing pages, each designed to showcase TourRadar’s diverse product selection and help generate new leads. The ideal candidate is Google Analytics certified and well-versed in writing content for SEO. The successful applicant will also have the ongoing opportunity to pitch and produce content for TourRadar’s online magazine Days to Come. This position provides the opportunity to hone creative skills while working with a team in a collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:
Ensure that web content meets established editorial, quality, and industry standards for the diverse TourRadar customer base
Research, plan, edit and produce various written materials for publication in online format and occasionally print
Work alongside team of Content Editors to plan, coordinate, and edit content for publication across various mediums
Review proposals and drafts for possible publication
Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members across the globe
Develop story or content ideas, considering reader/audience appeal
Prepare monthly story pitches and participate in group brainstorming sessions for our online magazine as well as both regional and global marketing campaigns
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

What we're looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field
Exceptional grammar, communication and writing skills across all forms of media
Must have a thorough understanding and mastery of SEO best practices; Google Analytics certified applicants will be given priority
Creative thinker with strong communication skills, able to effectively communicate concepts to management and team
Collaborative, highly organized and skilled at balancing multiple tasks and deadlines
Experience with Wordpress is preferred but not required
Travel experience and related industries is appreciated
