About the Role:
As a Survey Lead, you'll play a crucial role in leading and scaling our survey deployment function within the Research Team, based in New Zealand. You'll be responsible for overseeing survey deployment, ensuring data quality, testing new methodologies, and guiding the future development of our survey strategies.

The Survey Team is paramount in maintaining the integrity and trustworthiness of the information we provide, reinforcing the foundation of our company's commitment to delivering high-quality insights in a timely fashion to deliver always on tracking.
Collaborating closely with the Head of Research, you'll plan and prioritise areas of focus for the team, ensuring alignment with our overarching goals. This role includes people management responsibilities, so you'll need to be an expert in your field while also nurturing and mentoring your team to success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the continual deployment of our tracker surveys across multiple countries.
- Lead and develop our Survey Specialists, creating a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Organise and prioritise team workload to meet project deadlines effectively.
- Plan and execute areas of focus for the team as we scale our operations.
- Monitor and develop our data collection processes and ensure the integrity and quality of collected data.

Key Skills:
- Strong collaborative and cross-functional teamwork abilities.
- Exceptional prioritisation and delegation skills, even under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Methodical problem-solving approach with a logical and analytical mindset.
- Proven mentorship and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Tools and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with survey platforms such as Forsta/Decipher, ConfirmIT, NEBU, CMIX, etc.
- Experience with panel APIs or self-serve tools like Samplify.
- Proficiency in governmental statistics sources (e.g., ABS, Nomis, Stats.NZ).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools like Harmoni, Displayr, QExcel.
- Understanding of quantitative research methodology and survey writing.

Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in survey deployment, data collection, market research, or data analysis roles.
- Expertise in managing surveys to ensure data accuracy, relevance, and reliability.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret survey results and provide actionable insights.
- Ideally, experience in team management or leadership roles.

$115,000 - $140,000 a year
