We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Marketing to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that will elevate Tradeify's brand as a premier destination for traders, accelerate talent acquisition, and drive our firm's growth. You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, from strategy and employer brand development to digital marketing, content creation, community engagement, and team leadership. This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to significantly shape Tradeify's presence in the competitive trading landscape.

You'll report directly to the CMO, and your primary stakeholder contacts will be the CEO, COO and CMO.

The Opportunity

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to enhance brand visibility and reputation, particularly among skilled traders and quantitative professionals.
    • Team Building & Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team (or build one from the ground up), fostering a culture of creativity and accountability.
    • Brand & Messaging: Define and champion Tradeify's brand voice and value proposition, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels that resonates with our target audience of traders.
    • Digital Marketing & Talent Attraction: Oversee all digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO/SEM, targeted social media campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, niche forums, email marketing, paid advertising) to attract qualified trading talent.
    • Content Strategy: Lead the creation of compelling and insightful content (e.g., articles on trading strategies, market analysis, trader success stories, whitepapers, webinars) that attracts, engages, and educates potential traders.
    • Community & Event Marketing: Develop and manage online communities for traders; identify and coordinate Tradeify's participation in (or hosting of) relevant industry events, webinars, and potentially trading competitions.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Define, track, and report on key marketing metrics (KPIs) related to brand awareness, lead generation (trader applications), and campaign effectiveness; use data to optimize performance.
    • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Trading Operations, HR/Recruiting, and Digital Product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with firm-wide goals and talent needs.
    • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends in proprietary trading, competitor strategies for talent acquisition, and the evolving needs and sentiments of traders.

Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, or similar senior marketing role, preferably within the fintech, proprietary trading, or financial services industries.
    • A demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive lead generation and brand growth.
    • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media advertising, and marketing automation.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable marketing strategies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • A genuine interest in the world of proprietary trading and financial markets is highly desirable.

Nice to haves

    • Deep understanding of financial markets, trading concepts (e.g., algorithmic trading, quantitative strategies), and the proprietary trading landscape.
    • Experience marketing directly to traders, quantitative analysts, or other highly specialized financial professionals.
    • Proven success in building and engaging online communities for specialized professionals.
    • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in financial marketing.
$120,000 - $150,000 a year

Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000/yr USD
Bonus Potential: Up to $100,000/yr
