Responsible for supporting the operation of the AutoSync Business by providing financial and operational metrics, drivers, insights, and analysis on business performance to stakeholders against prepared budgets and forecasts. Working with Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, the Manager FP&A will make recommendations and act along with department owners, on tactics to achieve financial targets and objectives. A high level of business acumen will be required as the Manager FP&A will be expected to provide senior management with recommendations and actively influence the business decisions that are made.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Works on periodic (weekly, monthly) preparation and presentation of drivers and metrics with analysis and insights on achievement of financial objectives.
- Supports the month end process including financial statement analysis process and associated reporting of budget and reforecast variances. Will assist the Director in making informed recommendations to Executive Management.
- Supports the business by putting a financial lens on key initiatives, such as product profitability, new product development, organizational changes, or potential acquisitions. Will be responsible for making recommendations and decisions with department owners that will ultimately impact the financial results of the company. Must be able to communicate ideas, concepts, and financial outcomes efficiently through the use of presentation material (Powerpoint)
-Participates in the budget and forecast process with multiple stakeholders to ensure the budgets and forecasts are prepared in a timely basis in the correct format. Will be responsible for the accuracy of the data which may have a material impact on the financial results of the company. Including developing KPIs, BOD materials and other Executive materials
-University Degree or equivalent (R)
-Professional Accounting Designation CPA (CA/CMA/CGA), CFA or MBA (R)
-5+ years budgeting and forecasting experience in a medium to large corporate environment (R)
-5+ years extensive financial model building (R)
-Working experience in SAAS Company (P)
-Must be able to rapidly adapt to change and deliver under minimal supervision (R)
-Ability to make recommendations with the big picture in mind while executing analytics and reporting with a high degree of detail and accuracy (R)
-Must have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (R)
-Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (R)
-Database (SQL) and VBA Programming knowledge desirable (P)
