The Vice President of Operations, AutoSync will support an Executive leader in the business to ensure commercial and operational business priorities are planned and executed from start to finish with a focus on strategy, sales planning, accountability, insight, spotlights on inputs, key issues, and suggestions of solutions. This role will be critical in driving change and outputs within a complex program of work and will be accountable for reporting and governance. The ideal candidate for this role has proven experience in working with senior leadership to understand business priorities and then structure objectives and project teams to deliver on those strategic goals. We will look to this leader to be able to self-start and resolve problems between program teams and other internal stakeholders, coordinating all work through detailed implementation plans. This includes being the point person on all deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols. Success in this role will come from providing and implementing excellent processes for monitoring performance and collaborating with program teams to work in a way aligned to our core values of collaboration, the pursuit of excellence, curiosity, integrity, and authenticity.
What will you do:
- Reporting to the President, AutoSync, will have broad and comprehensive knowledge of matters related to the business with a focus on identifying new operational development opportunities and executing and aligning the business against the growth plan – assessing and quantifying sales strategies with impact and risk.
- The role will have a mandate of executing strategic growth plans as well as building processes to support business growth through the expansion of market share and customer relationships. They will facilitate this growth by working together with internal stakeholders as well as external business partners. Build and maintain high-level contacts with current and prospective business partners at all levels.
- The position will consume market and industry research, and lead detailed financial analysis/modeling and execution plans for growth.  Responsible for the identification of potential new opportunities and risks, bringing insights on product gaps versus competition and customer needs. Generate new business opportunities, developing long-term relationships and networks. Entrepreneurial in nature, driving growth and leadership in our growing team.
- Highly focused on the profitability of the Company as directed by the President and the Company's Strategic Objectives.  Responsible to execute the Growth Strategy that aligns with the business unit’s plans and objectives.
- Leading, in partnership with the President the negotiations, deal structuring, diligence, and integration management of all growth activities.    Responsible for the achievement of quarterly and annual revenue targets and leveraging existing relationships within required markets.
- Overseeing company operations, project timelines, business developments, and employee productivity while building a highly inclusive culture to ensure team members thrive 
- Measuring and analyzing current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize business growth and revenue strategy.
- Developing actionable business strategies, objectives, and plans that ensure alignment with short- and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the President
- Strategically managing, organizing, and coordinating employees from different departments and locations to ensure efficiency
- Advising on financial procedures and organizational policies and programs to drive the company’s operating capabilities to surpass the industry average
- Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with management
What you'll need:
- MBA, bachelor's degree in Business Administration. 10+ years experience in business development with a "best-in-class" organization; in high-performance sales or marketing in industries such as; Automotive & Digital Successful track record of building robust partnerships and customer relationships through networking and consultative solution selling
- Experience leading complex contract negotiations; In-depth knowledge and experience contributing to all deal types ranging from re-contracting,  licensing, and complex partnerships. Experience in acquisitions and divestitures is also important.
- Track record of closing deals with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goal strategies for new markets.
- Expert Level Knowledge of Digital Marketing - familiar with industry trends and advances. 
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence key stakeholders. Trusted, able to win over difficult stakeholders, and known for getting work done
- Strategic and analytical thinker who is able to develop an executable business strategy to develop a compelling vision and strategy for success.
- Entrepreneurial orientation; keen ability to recognize the value and see new opportunities
- Experience working in start-ups and hypergrowth; agile environments.
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as a strategic thinker
