Tradesy is seeking an exceptionally talented Program Manager to help plan, track, and coordinate our technology and product initiatives.

A basic understanding of the fashion landscape is a plus. You may not be a fashion expert, but you have a general sense for the domain, and can get up to speed very quickly.

This role reports directly to the CTO. 

You Will:

    • Work with the Technology and Product management team to identify major company goals for each year (or the most relevant time frame)
    • Guide the creation of a Technology roadmap (including sequencing and dependencies) that is tightly aligned with the company’s key priorities and has Product support
    • Work with product managers and department leads to translate roadmap initiatives into quarterly goals and projects
    • Keep track of the status of key initiatives across departments and make this information visible to all
    • Spot and escalate projects at risk, escalating to leadership for quick resolution or business trade-offs
    • Collaborate with the Technology team on resourcing methodologies so that the roadmap has the highest possible chance of success
    • Set up program and project management infrastructure as needed, particularly within Technology, to ease project tracking and knowledge transfer/documentation
    • Develop an effective and repeatable prioritization process for found work and sudden opportunities
    • Ensure that trade-off and prioritization decisions are made explicit and communicated to the wider team
    • Drive or track consistent, forward progress on roadmap projects and clearly communicate status
    • Develop and drive a regular cadence of quarterly goal-setting and tracking across Technology that is efficient, practical, and effective

You Have:

    • Hands-on project management experience with responsibility for failure or success
    • Strong familiarity with SDLC practices at small to mid-size technology companies
    • A natural ability to influence others in a collaborative, respectful manner
    • Demonstrates knowledge of program management best practices
    • 2+ years of program management experience or equivalent
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Strong communication skills
    • Self-starting and comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with fashion e-commerce or resale business a plus
