Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely handling products in our Kelowna location. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.
This is a full-time position: 40 hrs. per week
What you will be doing:
- Processing and packing incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
- Receiving, verifying, unpacking and sorting incoming materials
- Maintaining accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
- Operation of warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
- Maintaining warehouse safety and cleanliness.
What you bring:
- Stand-up/Sit-down counter-balance MHE experience
- Experienced use of clamp attachments an asset but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50LBS
- Basic mechanical skills an asset
- Good oral and written communication skills
